PONAD PIONEM, meaning “beyond the vertical”, is a cultural space in Warsaw — beyond the ordinary — where ART, COCKTAILS and CONVERSATIONS meet, inspired by the world of elevators and the spaces between floors.
Our NoLo time starts at noon and flows from the afternoon into the evening, because any moment is the right moment to connect with someone ... a friend, or a stranger —for now. Once the workday is done, it's time to unwind and leave it behind.

NoLo stands for “No or Low Alcohol” — a different way to enjoy the ritual of a drink without making alcohol the focus. At PONAD, low-ABV creations and alcohol-free compositions are crafted with the same care and creativity as any great cocktail. More than an alternative to drinking, NoLo is a culture of its own — a way to slow down, explore, share and connect.
Alcohol is optional. Connection is not.
Great cocktails should never compete with great conversations. They should start them. set the scene for the present moment and whatever comes next.
Art is part of the experience, not just the backdrop.
Our changing exhibitions bring contemporary artists and different perspectives into the space, giving each visit something new to discover.

THE HIDDEN TREASURE
Elevator Insight
Gravity always wins. The elevator pit is the deepest point of the shaft. Objects that accidentally fall into the shaft can end up collecting there — coins, keys, phones and other forgotten objects.
Story
We usually look up. For the next floor. The next destination. The next step. But gravity has another idea. Everything falls down. And sometimes, what ends up below becomes a treasure. Coins, keys, phones — things that were lost, forgotten or simply slipped away — can gather in the deepest part of the elevator. The Elevator Pit turns this hidden space into a metaphor: sometimes the things of value are not above us, waiting to be reached. Sometimes they are already below us, waiting to be discovered. The treasure lies below.

Presentation & ritual
Touch the bottom of the glass to the table — the deepest point — and then drink. A simple gesture connecting the bottom of the glass with the bottom of the elevator shaft. Go to the bottom. Then discover what is there.

PONAD is hidden above the ordinary — but easy to find once you know where to look. After passing the big rock (Kamien Browarskie) from the Łucka Street side enter Tower B an take the elevator to the first floor. When the doors open, your real journey starts: step out, look around and stay a while.
Come after work, for an exhibition, a cocktail, a coffee, a conversation — or simply to see where the elevator takes you.
Come alone, with someone, or as a small group.
